Axfood complies with Swedish food legislation concerning labelling and traceability, which sets out in detail what information must accompany food in Swedish stores.
Clear ingredients
Customers must easily be able to read what ingredients a product contains. Axfood will therefore list all the ingredients, as far as is possible. Where this is not practically possible, for example where a product contains “spices” (which do not need to be declared in detail), Axfood must know which spices are used in its private label products so that it can inform interested consumers.
