At 6 pm this evening Willys will open a totally newly built store in Staffanstorp. The construction of this store is based on the advanced concept for the next Willys generation. The new Willys store is the first in the soon to open Hemmestorp shopping centre in Staffanstorp.

“Hemmestorp is a truly prime location and has major potential as a shopping centre. Our new concept and Sweden’s cheapest bag of groceries make our offering highly competitive. It is with pride and anticipation that I will open the store this evening,” says Peter Holst, store manager at Willys in Staffanstorp.

The next generation of Willys stores represents modernization of the entire customer offering based on consumer preferences. There is a strong focus on fresh products which are displayed first in the store. The product range has been broadened considerably in order to meet customers’ requirements for basic items as well as “that little bit extra”. The new concept also has a more modern layout both outside and inside the store. At the same time, the strong Willys hallmark is unchanged – the low prices and “Sweden’s cheapest bag of groceries”.

“One obvious advantage with this store is that it is so rational. Broad aisles, easy-to-see product displays, clear signs, fast checkouts with self-service and plenty of parking spaces make shopping here quick and easy. I believe this is something that customers appreciate,” says Holst.
