Axfood operates a regular trainee programme, as part of which we recruit young academics with an interest in the food and service industry. For one year, the trainees have the opportunity to work at our various workplaces, learning about retailing and leadership, as well as running a group-wide project. The trainee programme provides an excellent start within a strong network across Axfood.
We see the trainees as ambassadors, and not least as future managers, who can focus on issues and make decisions that will benefit the whole company.
